Trash is a free real-time strategy game developed by Inhuman Games. It's a desktop game that takes place after a great nuclear war. Weapons of mass destruction have been banned and peace treaties have been signed. Unfortunately, a fleet of alien ships appeared outside the Earth’s atmosphere. They use their superweapons to cause major alterations to Earth’s geography, causing the United States Government to unleash its hidden nuclear arsenal.
What is Trash?
With every human fearing for their life on Earth, the U.S. government fights back against the aliens with nuclear weapons. Both humans and aliens rely on the trash from either the Dump Trucks or Thralls. It is also referred to as peons by both races. Other resources in the game are Gas and People. Fuel does not require continuous collection, unlike humans. People are collected by thralls and are acquired from unarmed huts.
Special sites or core buildings are used to create more units or resources. You will need three types of sites: toxic waste sites, precious metal sites, and gas sites. Whether you’re on the side of humans or aliens, you will need to upgrade for units or special structures that can be built on these sites. They cannot be destroyed by any race, especially gas sites. Military units can destroy toxic wastes and precious metals.
Your structures will need to be connected together through pipes. They’re an inexpensive tool that keeps all buildings together. It also doubles as a new path for you and resources to travel through. It can be any resource in the game, including technology. Tech-related tools can be shared between allies but only through the pipes. It’s important to keep your pipes from breaking—or else, you will be isolated from your team.
Solid post-apocalyptic game
Trash is a well-thought-out game that supports single and multiplayer. You can expect an action-packed game where you can play on either side. Whether you play on the side of the humans or aliens, you will find a rewarding gameplay experience as you create a strategy for your team. Note that the game does not have customization options and weapon upgrades. Your resources will depend on what you find in the tunnels.
